We need your help!
Sue and Marijo encourage everyone to help us create a mission statement for our branch. Our mission statement should reflect who we are/what we do and be easy to recognize/remember. I listed some of the words/phrases we gathered so far (see list below). We would like to have it finalized so we can ask to board to vote on it at our April meeting. This is a fast turn-around, but we can do it! Please put your thinking caps on and be ready to give us your ideas on Tuesday (or send your ideas to me and I will add them to the list).
AAUW (national) mission statement is “Empowering Women Since 1881.”
AAUW (Minnesota) mission statement is “AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.”
