Get Your Story Story Show Tickets!

The 6th annual Story Show is scheduled for January 10 at 7pm. Tickets are available for purchase from AAUW members, at Sweet Reads, and the Riverland Community College box office. All proceeds support scholarships at Riverland Community College.

If you wish to purchase tickets and make a donation, you can make an additional donation when you purchase your tickets (see image below, additional donation area highlighted in blue).

If you would like to donate but not attend the event, enter the number of tickets to purchase to equal the amount you wish to donate (in the yellow box noted above) and then note in Step 3 of the purchase process in the ADDRESS box (see below) that this is a donation only and you don’t need the tickets. For example, if you wish to donate $60, then select 3 tickets. Unfortunately, the website doesn’t allow for a donation-only option.

AAUW Featured on the Wright Here, Right Now Podcast

Jennifer Lawhead and Jenny Braaten Winch, the organizers of the 6th annual Story Show, talk about this event on a recent episode of the Wright Here, Right Now podcast. This year’s theme is The Power of Hope. This year’s storytellers are Sue Grove, An Lee, Sarahi Duenes, Linden Anderson, Jen Wiebrand, Adam Boes, Emily Hovland, and Bob Rosel.

The Story Show 2023

The 2023 Story Show is scheduled for January 7 at 7pm at the Frank Bridges Theater at the Riverland Community College. Tickets are $20. All proceeds support scholarships at Riverland Community College.

This year’s topic is OPPORTUNITY. Each storyteller will share how they responded when opportunity knocked in their life.

Speakers include Emma Haugen, Kris Fadness, Brittany Carlin, Denver Ritz, Mike Ruzek, Trish Harren, Edward H. Hinchcliffe, and Varinh Van Vugt.
